They make great body balms in dozens of variations tailored for specific purposes.*<br><br>*Afrika Gold is specifically formulated as a hair care balm for Afro ethnic or dry, frizzy, damaged hair. It also works remarkably well as a hair gel replacement, allowing you to shape your hair with a product with all natural ingredients. We first used this product when we discovered our existing hair gel had artifical fragrances that attracted insects and bees! This product does not suffer from the same problem and is also available in a completely unscented version for those that don't want to smell too pretty.*<br><br>*The combination of unrefined shea nut butter and the more exotic cupuacu butter and murumuru butter make for an incredibly unique product that is free of artificial ingredients or fragrances.*<br><br>*It comes in a round tin and the way to use it is to pop it out of the tin, remove the paper underneath (if present) and put it back in the tin. To apply, just pop it out of the tin and rub it on your body wherever you need it. One nice benefit of this over lotion is that you don't get lotion on the palms of your hands when you are applying it. Alternatively, you can use it like a regular balm and just use your fingers to remove whatever you need while leaving the balm inside the tin.*<br><br>*The balms are packaged in metal containers which are both recycleable and highly reusable. For example, we use the tins when they are empty to store loose change, screws, nuts, bolts, rubber bands, or whatever else we need to keep organized in our drawers or cabinets.
